Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback Daniil Medvedev claimed his first championship for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the competition championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- world number one, has experienced a torrid period, managing just one match at the major tournaments and suffering a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in particular - resulted in him falling of the elite rankings and finally parting ways with former trainer his previous coach.
Currently collaborating with Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - climaxing in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents his maiden trophy after the Rome competition and maiden on a hard surface since March of 2023.
Success also indicates Medvedev has achieved 21 victories at 21 different events.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my both daughters together, so to get a title is particularly special," stated ranked player the champion.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I achieved when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his last six finals, featuring in Halle previously this season.
The player's defensive play style and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had led commentators to question if his ability to play at the highest level was finished.
But the athlete has made changes in the past month, making an effort to advance forward and perform positively, supported by an improved service.
The champion recovered from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Moutet, securing 4 of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The pair swapped break points in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his initial professional victory, took control to push for a final set.
Moutet defended four initial opportunities in a close deciding set before the champion secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner secured the win with a point at the net area, with the Frenchman unable to manage a shot after a lengthy match.
